The strengths of the Axis powers were their use of fear to force people to fight in the war and their use of new and bold sources of weaponry. Brainwashing the children and many adults to become Nazi-fied was brilliant. It gave the Nazis great power and a resource of people who became one hundred percent committed to Hitler's agendas. They used the "undesirable people" to build their weapons and create strongholds. So Hitler figured out that the more people and weapons he had the more ground he could cover in the war. He was weak in the area strategy and planning and knowing his troops or enemies. His ego was his greatest downfall.
Mussolini however did not have the commitment of his people. The Italians hated Benito Mussolini and the Germans. They would have rather been part of the Allies. The Italians often helped the Allies once they arrived in Italy.
