this is as far as i know from what the puritans are. they were a group of people who setteled in New Netherlands. they didnt get along with a group pf people called Quakers. Only because of the opposite views. Puritans belived in getthing rid of the Catholic church and leaving no trace of it behind. Also no toloerance for any other religon other than theres.
