All of themWhiskeys (distilled spirits) -- rye, Bourbon, Scotch, Irish, Canadian, etc. -- have no residual sugar. Nor do they contain any carbs or fats. They also contain fewer calories than do beers and wines.

Not according to every nutrition search engine I've ever used. Pretty much pure alcohol and water plus trace quantities of tannins etc., that give the taste. So why does it have that fabulous sweet taste, then?
