Well, every grown-up has been a 12 year old, but no twelve year old has ever been a grown up. Grown ups know that a twelve year old should focus on enjoying the last few years of childhood and adolescence, rather than focusing on the troublesome issues of boy-girl relationships. At your age, you should be considering what will make a good life long partner for you, and watching their behavior with their friends and family before committing to a relationship.
