Fake her death
The nurse instructs Juliet to go to Friar Laurence's cell to be married to Romeo secretly. She will then go to Romeo's house where they will consummate their marriage and plan for their future.
Father Lawrence advises Paris to go easy on the wedding arrangements and not rush into the marriage with Juliet. He believes that Paris and Juliet should take the time to truly understand and love each other before getting married.
He changes the wedding to the next morning after Juliet decides to go through with marrying Paris.
Without Juliet's consent, there could not be a marriage at all. This is why her father browbeats her into giving it.

Paris goes to the Capulet's monument to mourn and pay his respects to Juliet, believing she is dead. He is there to honor her memory and grieve her passing.

Juliet goes to Friar Laurence's cell to seek his help and advice after being told by her parents that she must marry Paris. She is desperate for a solution to avoid the unwanted marriage and turns to the friar for guidance.
She threaten to kill herself if she had to marry Paris. They made a plan where Juliet would take a potion that would make her go to sleep. She was going to act like she was dead so that she wouldn't have to marry Paris.
