well after looking at another answer, if i read it correctly and if they were correct, then it would turn purple of blue. I probably would have guessed purple anyways, but you should probably check other resources too. I wouldn't want to be guilty for giving you the wrong answer after all.
iodine is an indicator for starch, potatoes are basically starch storage organs for potato plants. that's why they are good to eat, mmm starch!
Yes. However, certain teas cannot be used. One tea which does work is black tea, which gets darker when a base is added and lighter when an acid in added.
The specific heat of substance A is greater than that for substance B. If both sample sizes are the same and they both start at the same temperature and equal amounts of heat are added to both these samples, substance A will have a lower temperature than substance B.
1. Add 5 cm3 dilute sodium hydroxide (caustic!) to a 1% solution of albumen (the white part of an egg)2. Then add 1% copper sulphate solution3. A purple colour appears and this indicates that protein is present.
When acid is added to universal indicator, the indicator will typically change to shades of red, orange, or yellow, depending on the strength of the acid.
If a universal indicator is added to blood, it would likely turn a dark purple or blue color, indicating a more basic pH level. Blood typically has a pH around 7.4, which is slightly alkaline.
A neutral solution added to universal indicator will turn green.

When bicarbonate of soda is added to universal indicator, it typically turns the solution a blue or purple color. This indicates a basic pH level.
When universal indicator is added to milk, it will change to a blue or purple color, indicating a basic pH level.

Bright red and the colourless
Sulfuric acid is a strong acid and will turn universal indicator red when added, indicating a pH of around 0-1.
weak acid = orange/yellow
Pure water is neutral so the color will be green.
Assuming it to be mostly a weak acid, the color would be orange/yellow
