First thing to check is the Cam sensor...if that's malfunctioning then you will have neither spark nor fuel.
It could cause a low rpm misfire/stumble/die off.
try crank position sensor and cam shaft sensor
No , but lean conditions can cause the misfire
Pass side of the fire wall.
Fire... Where there is smoke, there is fire.
change the pickup coil in distr
It is the box with three plugs on the far passenger side of fire wall.
Failed coil/plug wire.
You need to have it checked for codes. You could have a cam sensor or crank sensor problem.
try replacing crank sensor
A smell of gas in your Dodge Intrepid could indicate a fuel leak, which might come from damaged fuel lines, a faulty fuel injector, or a compromised fuel tank. It could also result from a loose or damaged gas cap. Additionally, issues with the charcoal canister or evaporative emissions system may contribute to the smell. It's important to address this issue promptly, as it can pose a fire hazard.
If you have checked the coil pack to make sure it is getting power then it might be the ECU. I would make sure you check the engine codes too.
