I had the same thing happen to me quite a longtime ago but I'm fine (I haven't got one and a half ears!) But because I had my earrings in too long, they sunk into my lobe. What you need to do is, go to the doctors and they will...do something to help you (do yourself a favour and DON'T look what they're going to do) and chuck those piercings in the bin!:D
When you first get your piercing, with any piercing, the people that do the piercing they use their own equipment and normally you choose they kind of stud you want. So yes you do have to get a stud first. Normally you have to wait 6 weeks before you can change any piercing, just so your skin can get used to it and also to decrease the risk of an infection.
A dot piercing is a piercing that has a stud.
A peircing where the bar actually sits beneath your skin all you can see is the baubell/ stud
No, you need to get a longer bar.
you should use a stud
i would say find an stud (earing) to match ur skin color
If it's a vertical Labret piercing then it's a curved barbell, if it's a standard lip piercing it can be a labret stud or a ring.
The skin shouldn't heal over the back of the jewelry. Its common for the piercing to kinda nestle and from a sort of crater in your lip. If its starting ot heal over, go to your piercer and they can give you a longer stud.
pull the stud out
A clear piercing retainer
It's best after the piercing is healed, otherwise it might get infected and swell up.
