It is possible that your baby can be born with FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome). Some of the symptoms of FAS include: low birth weight, premature birth, small head circumference, decreased motor skill development, lack of coordination, organ dysfunction, epilepsy, etc. There are, of course, different degrees of severeity of FAS and a lot of other factors such as what type of alchohol, how far along you were, how much alchol within a certain time period, how often. etc. etc. My advice would be to seek medical help to stop any addiction that you have and take folic acid while pregnant to help ensure the best development of the baby.
