It will probably run a little hotter than normal. Your anti freeze should be a 50/50 mix most places in North America and you can buy premixed at any store that sells anti freeze. More anti freeze than water should only be considered in extreme cold weathet climates. If you live in North Dakota or Minnesota your local auto parts dealer can tell you what the locals mix.

it is concentrated to be mixed w/ water. the vehicle wont over heat or freeze unless its EXTREMELY hot or cold.

What happens when you overfill car with antifreeze?

I don't think you can actually overfill a car with antifreeze. There is an overflow chamber that prevents this. Perhaps this overflow can be overfilled but in that case the worst thing that can happen is the little plastic cover pops off and you get some excess antifreeze on the ground. It might also depend on the car. when car gets hot it will push coolant to reservoir (expansion) and when cold, into radiator. this is the function of the rad. cap....if u overfill reservoir it will only leak out of fill cap to the grd

Can no antifreeze cause no heat in a vehicle?

Yes, if your vehicle is low on antifreeze, there may not be enough to fill the heater core, and you wont get any heat. When the heat stops working in your car, antifreeze/coolant should be the first thing you check.

What can happen if you use straight antifreeze in your radiator?

If your use anything more concentrated than about half anitfreeze and half water, the radiator water will freeze at a considerably warmer temperature. There will be less protection. Also, antifreeze actually helps keep your car running cooler in summer. If you use straight antifreeze, the car will "boil over" at a much lower temperature. There will be less protection.

Does antifreeze make the heat in a car work?

Yes, if your low on antifreeze, there may not be enough to fill the heater core, and you wont get any heat. If your heat is not blowing that should be the first thing you check.

How do you flush and refill antifreeze on 2002 Yukon?

=To properly flush the antifreeze on a 2002 Yukon you will need a antifreeze vacume system you will need to start the car and have it running turn on all the heating modules to high and have the car reved at about 1.5 r.p.m, or a little higher to activate the vaccume this will start sucking the old antifreeze out. When the radiator is empty{you will know when it is empty because there will be no more antifreeze coming out}you can then fill it up with half and half antifreeze[half water half antifreeze].=

How much antifreeze does a 2003 Honda accord take?

with the car cold. fill radiator to just before it comes out of the top. drive car to make it hot. let it get cold again and ad antifreeze until just before it comes out of top.

How can you tell if your car needs antifreeze?

If the temperature gauge rises quickly when you start your car, it probably needs antifreeze. Watch out when you fill the radiator. If antifreeze starts pouring from some random place under the engine, then your freeze plugs are probably shot. Cheap part to replace -- about $5. But the labor cost ... Ouch ...
