a friend has told me that you get very sick and nauseous if you mix the 2
if you are addicted to heroin and you take suboxone, you will become violently ill. I was told by user friends to wait at least 24 hrs after taking last dose of heroin. I waited and still began vomitting for hours and crapping myself (no joke), went to hospital only to find they give you no sympathy and no help. Do not take suboxone unless it's been 48 hours or more since last hit of dope (heroin).
The suboxone will stop the heroin from working, and you will not get high. Also, if you are physically addicted to heroin and take suboxone (with a needle or even under the tongue), it will cause you to go into immediate withdrawl. This is one reason why suboxone is used to treat individuals who have been addicted to heroin and other opiates.
Also, combining heroin and suboxone increases the chance of respiratory depression (a decreased rate of breathing). If respiratory depression is severe enough it can cause death.
you will just get sick , VERY sick, do not do this thinking "oh I'll be okay, they probably just told me not to do this because they know it will get me high." You will be very wrong if you do this. You will feel worse than you have ever felt in your life. And you certainly will not get "high" since the suboxone docks with and completely saturates your opiate receptors, there is no way that the heroin can come in to contact with your opiate receptors. So just wait at lest 36hours - 48 hours after suboxone to take any opiates. And opiates should never be taken recreationally anyway. You will loose everything in life that ,means anything at all to you. Check out my bio page.
This is, generally speaking, not recommended. Since suboxone contains buprenorphine, a mixed opioid agonist-antagonist, as well as naloxone, a pure opioid antagonist, the addition of an opioid (usually with purely agonist properties) can lead to withdrawal symptoms.
That being said, Suboxone can be overwhelmed by high dose and/or high potency opioid agonists (and this is often accomplished in emergency room settings, when trauma or acute pain conditions are being treated).
Supposedly nothing. Buprenorphine, Suboxone, is supposed to bind so tightly to opiate receptors that no other opioids will bind. I dont think that's entirely true unless you're taking profuse amounts of suboxone. I was taking 8mg suboxone, and a 40OC got me pretty twisted. I'm embarrassed to say that. I'm not trying to sound cool. I really want to quit. Don't take opiates while on suboxone, or for that matter, ever again. I couldn't get my suboxone legitimately, and now im out and my connect is gone. I'm sick every day and can't sleep, but when i do finally fall asleep, i sleep for 15 hours. I've heard Imodium is good for withdrawal as it is an opiate, but can't cross the BBB blood brain barrier easily. Its good for diarrhea tho.
Not a lot. Since buprenorphine has a higher affinity for the relevant receptors than heroin does, much of it would not be able to find a receptor to lock into. This is often referred to as "blocking." You should wait at least twenty-four to thirty-six hours after your last buprenorphine dose. If you "play hooky" with other opioids for more than three days in a row, you will have to transition back to buprenorphine as you did the first time.
you die
At least 2 days.
yea you can but it might not work that good.
Can I take doxycycline while I am on suboxone
No..it's the only thing i can take while on suboxone
no ive done it but you wont feel anything unless u take alot
Yes you may take BC powder while o suboxone. I have been on it for three years now and have always used BC powders before, during, and while on suboxone.
wait at least 12 hours. usually after taking opioid such as heroin, fentanyl, morphine, hydrocodone you have to wait at least 24 hours. but ive found with oxycodone you only need to wait 12. no less than 12 though.
Yes, suboxone really will have no affect in your daily life unless you take a high dose. Most people think you can get high from suboxone but you really don't, and if you do it won't happen again, everyone has their own opinion.
Yes.
Hardly anything.
Yes you can take codeine suryp while taking suboxone! I do it all the time! It does not send you into w.d's it really works! So yes
Hi I was wondering if it was okay to take Suboxone while taking high dose of Insulin? I'm very concerned about a friends health.
