If you talk or laugh while eating since your talking or laughing your trachea opens so that you can make sound and if you swallow something it will go down your trachea and you will choke.
you would choke and die. The food you eat would enter the wrong passageway, through the bronchiole tubes and not the esophagus. Causing death.
The face cracks
The short answer is : the epiglottis is a movable flap of tissue attached behind/under the tongue which blocks the entrance to the trachea. There is also a sound box called Larynx which sends out vibrations when we talk and due to this vibrations the flap opens and sometimes food goes inside and we start coughing. If you talk while eating, and you happen to be a toddler, your Mum will tell you off. If you talk while eating, and you are older than that, people may think you are a bit of a pig.....
People can talk while they are eating, but not when they have food in their mouth. Just ask them politely not to talk with their mouthful. That's it.
When eating a meal yes, but don't talk while there is food in your mouth. That's rude! ;)
Allow the crystal to ring. Don't talk while eating!
this guy used to hate me, but we made each other laugh. just make him laugh get him alone to talk to. after a while i passed a stickie saying, "Do u hate me?" he said not at all. just make him laugh. make him be friens with u. or something.
Everyone experiences hiccups from time to time, especially after eating too much food or drinking too much alcohol. But some people get hiccups frequently for no apparent reason, and the attacks can last a long time and be distressing.
When you talk with food in your mouth, it means you don't have manners.Edit: Also, bits of food can fly out.The short answer is : the epiglottis is a movable flap of tissue attached behind/under the tongue which blocks the entrance to the trachea (windpipe) when food is swallowed, thus protecting the lungs by forcing the food to pass over the trachea and instead go down the esophagus (food- & drink-pipe) into the stomach. If you talk while eating, and you happen to be a toddler, your Mum will tell you off. If you talk while eating, and you are older than that, people may think you are a bit of a pig.......
It is true that you should not talk while you have food in your mouth and it is not really possible to talk while you are taking a drink of a beverage. You may, of course, talk between bites as long as you have swallowed the food.
It's sleep talk/laugh. Some people just tend to be really connective while dreaming.
