I've heard that if you sing too much you will get some sort of ulcers in you throat for days or even months, so you shouldn't sing too much if you dont want ulcers.
This is common, your voice needs training to sing. When you feel sore, give your voice and throat a break. When you feel better, sing again.
Both. I think... But really, throat
You do sing from your throat but it is mostly down to your diaphragm that is why you should stand up straight when singing to project your voice and sing out. if you slouch your unable to achieve what you could standing up.
A person that wants a good voice so they can sing, will have to take care of their throat. Drink warm liquids and do not smoke. A vocal coach will also help a person train their voice to sing in tune.
when you sing METAL you have to use your diaphragm to scream you don't wanna use your throat to scrream because it will ruin your singing voice
I think you're referring to throat singing, which is a method of singing used by Tibetan monks to sing multiple notes at once, (they achieve a drone note and then can sing melodies over top of the drone note, much like a bag-pipe or an accordion).
Yes, it does, because it produces mucus in your throat, which hurts your singing voice.
No, when you sing your also hearing the vibrations from your throat which nobody else can hear
Did you have a sore throat? if yes, then maybe it affected your voice for a little while. My cold stop a few days ago, plus i had a sore throat, but i couldn't sing very well without my voice sounding scratchy. it will probably get back to normal soon. hope this helped! ~D~
sore throat/sick can't sing lost voice too much to drink stage fright
When you sing from your stomach or rather your diaphragm, the sound is usually stronger and your chest doesn't hurt as much. Usually you do that when singing a long phrase or loudly so you don't run out of breath. When you sing from your throat...actually, I don't think your supposed to sing from your throat unless you're singing quietly; because you sing with your "head voice" to keep the high notes in pitch, and you sing with your diaphragm to have more....control, power, whatever you want to call it.
If our throat ever hurts when you sing, you are dong something very wrong, and running a distinct risk of ruining your voice - not just for singing, for regular speaking too. Please talk with a good voice teacher, or someone you know who has had vocal training, and try to find out what you are doing wrong.
