What will it do to your rifle if you reload 1000 grain bullets at 2500 plus fps out of your 700 NE rifle?

Standard loadings for the 700 NE are 2000 fps. Going above that loading is possible, but the likelihood of damage to the rifle is significant. The likelihood of damage to the shooter is also quite high. That would result in a muzle energy of over 13,000 ft lbs, and a recoil equal to more than a dozen .308 cartridges. Never exceed established load data when reloading cartridges.

Why does a gun barrel rise?

The barrel is usually above the centerline of the gun. When fired, recoil pushes straight back from the line of the barrel, but that is offset above the centerline, and causes the gun to pivot.

25-06 caliber good for deer hunting?

Absolutely ! I have taken several with mine. It is a very flat shooting cartridge with very mild recoil. I prefer the 117 - 120 grain bullets, as opposed to the lighter 75 - 100 gr. The lighter bullets are great if you also wish to do some groundhog or coyote hunting. You can shoot a deer from 500 meters away with a 120 grain bullet! All you need to do is zero a scope in and take the crossair slightly above the deer and BAM! You've got a trophy waiting for you 500 meters away!

Bullets and Numbering are used to make lists inside a word processing document. The home ribbon located inside the top portion of a word document is where the "bullets and numbering" buttons are located. Inside "paragraph" grey box, 3rd from the left is the align buttons. Above these buttons is Bullets (on the left) and Numbering (on the right). Both are format-able to your specifics by choosing a symbol from the list or a letter.

What bullets are used for the ekol p29 gun?

9mm PTB gas bullets. It is not a real gun, and does not fire live ammunition. Do not attempt to run live rounds through it. <<<<<<<<<< Agree with above. It does NOT use any bullets. This is a blank firing gun. It uses the 9mm PAK blank cartridge- which has no bullet. Do not attempt to fire any standard ammunition in this gun- it would be extremely dangerous

What type of metal are most bullets made of?

The vast majority of pistol bullets are made from 'bullet metal' which is an alloy of lead/tin and maybe Antimony - The ratio's of these are down to each manufactures choice. (Also by chemical analysis - the manufacturer can be determined) Some pistol bullets have a copper jacket surrounding the core of lead alloy. Rifle bullets can be as above or as there is a move from lead, as it is a hazardous substance, some bullets are now solid copper. Military bullets, can have a varity of core substances; steal is used for armoured pircing rounds (The more correct term for a bullet), wooden bullets was even tried during the second world war. So a simple answer would really be turned around by saying "What would you like to make them from?" Regards Rob

Are modern day bullets magnetic?

no they are not Well... In the sense that many bullets are solid lead, no, they can't be picked up by a magnet. However, many are either steel jacketed (i.e thin outer layer of steel around a lead core), or, in certain cases, are steel cored, these bullets can be picket up by a magnet. Now, if the question was whether the bullet itself carried a magnetic charge (and, thus, acted like a magnet), the above answer is certainly true: NO, bullets are not magnetic in and of themselves.
