This is a list of the GOTY's so far:

Lindsay Bergman (2001) She was the first Jewish Doll*.

Due to poor sales of Lindsay, American Girl did not make a 2002 GOTY.

Kailey Hopkins was for 2003-2004. She was a surfer.

Marisol Luna (2005) She sold out early. She is a Latina doll, the first Latina doll made, and I believe the only one.

Jess Akiko McConnell (2006) She was the first GOTY doll to have a middle name.

mold due to her Japanese-American Irish heritage.

Nicki Fleming (2007) She and Chrissa are the only GOTY's so far to have two books. She has a unique face mold and her and Chrissa are currently the only GOTY's to have two books. She is the first GOTY to have her own horse**.

Mia St. Clair (2008) She was an ice skater. She was the first doll to have her own online diary.

Chrissa Maxwell (2009) She is the second doll to have her own online diary. She is also the first doll to have two best friends. She is the first GOTY to have anyfriends. She and Nicki are the only GOTY's so far to have two books. She is the only doll so far to have a llama(:

Her two best friends are Sonali Matthews and Gwen Thompson.

Lanie Holland (2010) No info so far, but she has two books. Rumors tell she is African American.

*Rebecca Rubin is the second Jewish doll.
