It really just depends on the scope of coverage you chose when you purchased your home insurance policy. A home Insurance Policy is "Hazard insurance" that provides a home owner financial protection from sudden accidental loss due to the those hazards listed on your schedule of covered perils.

In simplest terms, Your Homeowners Insurance (Home and Property Hazard coverage) will provide coverage to fix, repair or replace your home structure if it is damaged by a covered "Peril" as listed in your policy terms. Typical perils are Fire, windstorm, hail etc. You will need to refer to your home insurance policy for the specific perils covered.

If you purchased extended coverage for contents and other structures, your policy may also provide funds to fix, repair or replace certain home contents, appliances and other structures on your property when they are damaged or lost due to a covered peril.

If your asking what your home insurance policy will "fix" simply because it's broken and not damaged due to a covered peril then that sort of thing is not covered under your home insurance policy and may be a part of the owners maintenance responsibilities or you may look to a warranty on the item that needs fixing outside the scope of a covered peril.
