hot wire
In a standard three-pin plug, the hot wire (live wire) is typically connected to the right pin when looking at the plug with the pins facing away from you. The left pin is usually the neutral wire, while the top pin is the earth (ground) wire. However, it's important to check local wiring standards, as they can vary by country.
I guess you are in the UK because other countries don't allow it. The brown is the live, that goes to the fuse, the green-yellow is the earth pin (the big one at the top), then the blue goes to the other pin on the left. Usually the brown wire is the shortest and the others a little longer and equal. It is VITALLY important - for safety - to get the colours to the right pins. The plastic sheath that goes round all three wires should be fixed where the cable enters the plug.
One pin for phase other pin for neutral and third one is for earth/ground wire. In India the right pin is for phase, left pin is for neutral and pin on top side is for ground wire. This third top side pin is slightly bigger and longer compared to phase and neutral pins.
A three-pin top is typically used for electrical plugs and sockets, with one pin for grounding and the other two for live and neutral connections. It ensures a secure and safe connection for electrical appliances.
The top of the pin is called the head of the pin.
Top pin is ABS. Next two pins are marker lights. Next two pins down are flashers. Bottom pin is brake lighting. Center pin is ground.
It goes to the top wire on the coil, the one that usually has a cover over it.
A wire gauze is placed on a tripod stand on top of a Bunsen burner.
Do you have a wire that goes to the top of the engine then yes you have a spark plug
A wrist pin is a small pin that goes through the side of the piston to hold it to the top of the crankshaft rod. It is called a wrist pin because it allows the piston to move up and down, like moving your wrist up and down.
It depends upon what type of plug that you are talking about. There are many configurations of plugs. The one that you are probably referring to is a 2 pole 3 wire grounding plug. To correctly identify the "phase" pin a voltage and amperage must be stated. It will fall under one of three designations L5, L6 or L7. By Convenstion the right side pin is supposed to be phase or hot pin. Left side pin is neutral. Top side pin, which is slightly larger and bit longer is for grounding. This convention is applicable in India.
It goes directly to the back of the top of the alternator.Easy
