the solenoid is on the starter. It's the part the wires go into.
if your standing above the solenoid the wire to the stater goes on the left all other wires go on the right
well take the old one off look at the wires and there you go
If you are talking about the fuel shutoff solenoid then there are two wires
Without the entire model number I can't tll you where to find the solenoid. But, if you follow the positive (+) battery cable from the battery it will go directly to the solenoid. Unhook the cable from the battery first. Then mark the cables that go on the solenoid so you can put them back on the new solenoid in the same positon. All you have to do is remove the wires from the solenoid and unbolt it from the mower. Then put the new one in it's place and hook the wires up just as you removed them.
cut the wires and the new solenoid will have the part to solder the cut wires together
First locate bad solenoid. Once you have found it, unscrew wife nuts and disconnect the black wires from the other wires. Then simple unscrew the solenoid... Do all this with sprinkler system off
The starter solenoid? Attached to the starter. Round thing, wires, etc.
that is an easy job. disconeect the wires, unblot the solenoid.install new solenoid, reconnect the wires. jobs done

follow the positive battery cable to the starter solenoid. there's three wires and two 8mm bolts. disconnect the negative battery cable then replace the solenoid by transferring the wires from the old to the new
