I believe that someone who is a male and female is either called a transgender or a hemefridite, depending on if you mean physically or mentally. If someone is physically one gender and mentally the opposite gender then they are called a transgender.
For example; a boy named Jeydon, a popular comidian/song artist on YouTube, is transgender. He was physically born a female but was born with a male's mind. So going by what he felt on the inside, he raised himself as a boy.
If someone is a hemefridite, then they are physically both male and female meaning they have a penise and a vagina.
