Yes, Titanium is nonferrous. The word "ferrous" comes from the latin "Ferrum", which in turn lent its name to the periodic table abbreviation for Iron (Fe). The meaning of the word is: "of, relating to or containing Iron" or "Being or containing divalent Iron." Titanium (Ti), like Iron is an element. As such it cannot contain another element within itself. Like most metals, though, the two can be alloyed together (although there is little point) to form a compound. This new compound would be called Titanium Ferrite.

Tie-Tain- e- um and there you have the word Titanium
Since "burn" doesn't appear anywhere in the list of elements, I am assuming the answer you're looking for is "tan". With that being said, there are 2 options for you. Titanium or Tantalum. These are the only two elements that contain "tan". Hope this helps.
They have very different properties, so stronger isn't a good word. Obsidian is harder, but more brittle. Titanium is softer, more flexible and can take more bending and pulling.

i am doing homework and this is what i put: steel is extacted using a blast furnace which is quick and relatively cheap. however to extract titanium, magnesium is needed because it is more reactive. magnesium is extracted by electrolysis, which is expensive therefore it is not cheap to buy. you have to buy the magnesium to extract the titanium, which is why titanium is expensive hope this helped and you can copy it word for word i dont care :)
