The shamwow works great and super absorbant it works like a sponge but leaves the surface completely dry my friend has one and she got out of the pool put the shamwow around her hair (after she washed it of course) and her hair was completely dry not a drop in her hair no use for a blow dryer u don't have to use up electricity!
The shamwow works by a towel that soaks up wet liquids.
Shamwow actually just works like a regular towel. The commercial says it picks up the mildew under the carpet "that is 110% untrue". We tried shamwow on a carpet sample and it did not pickup jack. Probably one of the best carpet stain removers' is "ORECK Housing and Cleaning Spray". This product is way better then shamwow and cheaper. Shamwow cost $14.99 to $19.99;Oreck stain remover is I believe $5.99 to $9.99. Bottomline DO NOT BUY SHAMWOW!
I think Scott is better than bounty, even though bounty is thicker. Scott towels are reusable
they say it works great but it is realy cheap and a rip off
Use windex foam and instead of paper towels, use newspaper. It really works!
The Shamwow product works by using microfibers to absorb large amounts of water like a sponge. Shamwows work about as well as anyone could expect a commercial liquid absorbing cloth to work.
it dries quickly without streaking. . . another tip. . .use old newspaper (not shiny pages) instead of paper towels to dry the windows. this gets double use out of the newspaper and it works as well as paper towels do
Not really, if you think of the no-name brands that some stores carry, then you can't really trust them. I did an experiment once and found out that bounty works the best. the brand name is good for cleaning.
Ordinary copy paper of about 80 gsm work fine. 100 gsm might be even better.
i never use paper towels, for it leaves lint behind..the best thing to use, is newspaper..I know it sounds crazy, but it completely works and you won't waste alot of money on paper.
I have heard that putting down some paper towels then lightly ironing them works for stuff like carpet- may work for you.
