The 1872 silver dollar does not have 14 stars on it. The 1872 silver dollars contained the 13 stars from the start of the government. The 13 stars represent the first established colonies. If the silver dollar does have 14 stars printed on it then it would be considered a misprint and worth allot.

Standing Liberty quarters are very dependent on grade. 1930 is a common date and if worn is only worth about $5-6 in silver scrap. But if uncirculated your coin can be worth $75+ depending on how many scratches/bag marks it has.
The eagle has 33 fethers on tthe right wing and 22 on the left
Thirteen or fifteen, for sure...
The front of the quarter had lady liberty with a cap and wreath on her head. She sort of had a Greek look, and it says "In God We Trust" on top, and the year the coin was made on the bottom. On the back, there is an eagle, or more specifically a heraldic eagle that has a banner in it's mouth stating "E Pluribus Unum", and on the top it says "The United States Of America", and the bottom says "Quarter Dollar", and there is thirteen stars above the eagle, yet under where it says "The United States Of America".
To represent the original 13 states
The best you can guess at is if the coin has 3 stars under the eagle on the reverse it was made from 1917-1930, no stars 1916-1917.
The Walking Liberty Dollar, better known as a Silver Eagle is a US bullion coin. On the obverse (heads) it features a woman personifying liberty, in her hand she has an olive branch and her other hand is outstretched to the sun. Flowing in front of her is an American flag. This is the same obverse (heads) design that was used on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar. On the reverse (tails) it features an eagle with its wings spread, olive branches grasped in one foot and arrows in another with stars above it. It says above the stars "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and below it "1 OZ. FINE SILVER ~ ONE DOLLAR". They are worth generally the price of silver in the coin (with usually a dollar or two added because of the fact it is a coin) which is always higher than the one dollar face value.
To determine the exact date will be almost impossible, but a detailed description of both sidesof the coin will help denote a time frame that the coin was minted. 13 stars appeared on several different quarter dollar varieties of design and different time frames.
