An 8 year old boy would like many things like LEGO's for example and Nerf guns
If your kid does not like legos or if you don't want your kid playing with toy guns you could try getting him a clubpenguin membership or clubpenguin toys.
If your kid likes Action Figures and stuff like that mabye get him some star war guys or g i joe guys and maybe wwe Wrestling guys.
If you are willing to spend alot of money maybe a ds,wii or an xbox with a kinect with a few games. If your kid has a gaming system and likes it you could maybe get some skylanders guys with a portal and if helikes legos get him a new lego game.
