Prostration means dropping down onto one's knees and bowing, as an act of immense respect and worship. This is often performed in religious contexts as a form of worship towards God, and in Islam is part of standard prayers. A place of prostration would be a place where this activity was acceptable, expected, or encouraged.
Countries are inanimate objects or philosophical constructions, and therefore, cannot perform worship in any way.
