What would a world be like without antibiotics?

Just like it was for all of human history prior to WW2 when antibiotics were first introduced: people dying from raging infections following minor injuries that got bateria under the skin, people dying from infection diseases that antibiotics easily cure, etc.

World was there before the invention of the antibiotics also. The human logevity was increased long before, almost hundred years, before the invention of the antibiotics. That was mainly because improved hygiene and sanitation in the western world. Rest of the world still lacks the basic facilities. The discovery of antibiotics has started the new era in the history of the mankind. It reminds me the days of black death, when almost hundred million people were dead because of the lack of proper hygiene and antibiotics. We were supposed to use the antibiotics judiciously for the coming millions of years. Unfortunately the the antibiotics are killed within say seven decades of invention of the first antibiotic in early nineteen forties. Ignorance and poverty, poverty include poverty of wisdom also, are the main reasons for the same. The antibiotics has given a lesson to us that the world has to unite and develop as a whole. You can not be safe and happy unless every body is safe and happy. The mankind has robbed the resources of the earth within last century to the extent that they were not so since the birth of mankind. If you do not awake now, you may have to live in caves again, like our ancestors did. Minimum, careful and judicious use of the resources and compassion for the mankind in particular and the ecosystem in general, is the solution to the problem.
