You could check at second hand stores or guitar shops sometimes they have good quality at low prices . Here is a site that tells you what to look for in a guitar www.everythingcebu.com/bits-and.../tips-in-buying-a-guitar...
A good place to get guitar tabs would be 911tabs. They provide you with a nice collection to choose from.
If you are looking for a good place to learn some songs on your guitar, then i would recommend this sight http://www.freeandeasyguitar.com
I would just say let the acoustic guitar be, and buy a hollow-body electric guitar.
I have just bought guitar hero five and it is okay.It isn't as good as metallica and world tour but the songs are quite good i would recommened.
guitar hero will work for the second player but you have to have a 1st player

A great entry level guitar would be the Squier Strat by Fender, very reasonably priced and sound good, in fact, I've been playing guitar for 25 years and still use a Squier in some of my recordings!
Probably some sort of Yamaha guitar. they're cheap but good for beginners.
that's a good point, but i think it would be a fiddle actually
A good beginner guitar is the Ibanez GSA60. Its affordable, has great sound and it seems pretty durable. I am also a beginner and just got this guitar and i love it!
yes. it is fairly good.
