i have no idea
Alfred Wegener proposed the idea of continental drift in 1915
The science of global warming could be a scam if someone had anything to gain by it. Yet scientists resisted the idea that they should be concerned about the possibility for almost a century after the possibility of anthropogenic global warming was first identified. No scientist has anything to gain by creating a hoax. In fact, any evidence that a research scientist has engaged in a scam would be career-destroying.
That would not be the smartest idea. that would hurt and not clean the belly ring. so its a stupid idea. it may even get infected.
The idea was only rejected initially (along with continental drift, where it originated), because there was no explanation as to why/how the continents would have split up and drifted apart from the super continent Pangaea. This was of course before it was discovered that continents "float" on magma that spreads out in opposite directions at fissures in the earth's mantle.
I found this answer on a similar question: "Magnetism and electricity unifies as a phenomenon known as Electromagnetism. This idea was first put forward by great scientist Micheal Faraday."Hope it helps. :)
no because then they would know least about the world

you can actually go to kbb.com and get a idea about the actual price of your car
This was not one particular scientist - as far as we know. It was the generally accepted idea in antiquity. Perhaps the idea started from one particular scientist, but in that case, his name is probably lost.
