My 94 had the same problem. Had to replace cluster. Got one off ebay for $40.
you need to replace dash illumination bulbs only problem the speedometer cluster has to be removed
Get somebody to read the codes. there is a speed sensor that has to be replace in your vehicle and that is why the servie engine soon light come on because it is aware of the problem when the speed is jumping around.
This is most likely a problem with your mouse, or mouse settings, and not a problem with Microsoft Office.
You can try to knock on the dashboard area around the speedometer. Or you could resolder the PCB on the backside of your speedo. Fixing it depends on what the speedometer is doing. Chances are its making a funny noise and the needle is bouncing around. This would be due to a damaged or unlubricated speedometer cable. It is a cable that spins around in a plastic sheath connected to the back or your speedometer and to your transmission. Often times removing it and filling it with graphite powder will solve the problem. If its severely damaged you can replace it with a new one. If the cable isn't the problem you may have to replace the speedometer itself.
it depends on what it is doing, does it not work at all? or does it jump around? could be the plastic speedo gear in the transmission, or it could be your speedometer itself. i have had a problem with mine and i need to replace my speedometer, the back assembly has gone bad. it jumps around. mazurlaser@aol.com
I had 91 crx with the rpm needle would jump around sometimes. Then my distributor went out and I replace it and the problem did not come back. ---------- The speedometer cable probably needs to be lubricated with graphite powder. Don't know how to access the cable though. I have the same problem on my 94 si, but strangely, the odometer does seem to be working fine.
You might want to replace your VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) Check this out: http://autorepair.about.com/library/faqs/bl022i.htm
bungee jumping has been around about 80years
Probably a power spike, often when a Caravan is "jumped". Try pushing the odometer/trip odometer button for 4-8 seconds. When it starts running a diagnostic test the speedometer should start jumping around and then reset itself. If it doesn't last, you may have a bad circuit. If a 100.??? comes up, you have problem of some type, maybe related-maybe not.
Transposition- "jumping genes" genes that move around almost randomly through the genome in maize or corn
It could be the tps, brake light switch, or crank sensor.
