During Mitosis, during metaphase, the centrioles grow spindle fibers which attach to the chromosomes located currently on the centrosome. They then pull one half of the chromosome to their side of the cell, this process is called anaphase. They then disappear.
To pull apart the chromosomes in anaphase in both mitosis and meiosis.
Used during Meiosis and Mitosis, only in animals. Helps with cell division.
Centrioles.
Just before a cell divides, its centrioles duplicate and one pair migrates to the opposite side. Spindle fibres are formed between them.. They play important role in the location of furrowing during cell division... Thus, if a cell lacks centrioles, it is unable to reproduce i.e mitosis fails to take place.
CENTRIOLES Centrioles are barrel-shaped rings composed of microtubules that help move chromosomes around when a cell divides. Centrioles are involved in microtubule formation during cell division and the formation of cilia and flagela.
The centrioles are organelles in the cell that sends out microtubules that connect to the DBA during the metaphase. These centrioles determine the position of the nucleus and plays a crucial role in the spatial arrangement of the cell.
The centrioles produce microtubules called spindle fibers, which push the centrioles apart as they grow.
Centrioles help divide DNA during cell division.

Centrioles are found in animal cells and play a role in cell division.
It helps divide DNA during cell division!! :) <3
