your valve seals/Guides need to be replaced.Oil is leaking down the valves when the engine is cold and dripping into the cylinders, thus burning off after the first mile you drive. As your engine warms up and the oil burns off, the smoke will dissapear. You will have this problem after your car is sitting for a while or on cold starts. Just for knowledge, Blue smoke is burning oil. Black smoke means over fuelling or air restriction whih means to much fuel. White smoke means burning antifreeze or water which is caused by a bad head gasket.
I have gas coming out the tailpipes and also when I took out the #8 spark plug gas poured out . Dose anyone have an answer for my problem?
Its either too much fuel coming from the carbeuator and causing it to backfire or it could be spark plugs wired wrong. try to be more specific on where backfire is coming from. either out of the carbeuator or the tailpipes.
this is a normal condition-the cat converter converts , o2 and co to h20 or something like that this creates the water --some systems have drains in muffler some dont
If an alternator light keeps coming off and on, this may indicate that the voltage output of the vehicle is going up and down intermittently. This may mean the alternator may need to be replaced soon.
Almost classic example of fuel filter gone bad.
the wind is hitting the sea and the fumes are coming off it
the blades are probaly hitting something.
If you do short trip driving moisture collects in the exhaust as it doesn't have time to dry out and then you get the water coming out of the tailpipes, the hot gasses from the engine and the cold pipes when first started creates moisture.
If something is "dripping", then it usually means that water is coming from it slowly and intermittently. For example, if a wet towel is hung on a rail, it would be "dripping" water.
ya need either a new spark plug, spark plug wires or new ignition coils because your not getting any spark in one of the cylinders which has been going on a long time if you can notice it now
I know it is under the hood but I don't know if it's the little hose coming in near the radiator cap or the big hose coming out the other side.
Just be careful, see everything ahead of you, be ready to stop or turn if needed and survey anything that you have any chance of hitting or coming close to hitting.
