Could be electrical or wiring, or it can b that the light is blown. Try tapping on it and see if something happens.
My 97 would stall at about every 3rd or 4th stop light, then my alternator died and when replaced the stalling stopped. Must have been too low output at low rpm so not enough spark for engine.
