Hold it! Your engine oil needs to be changed every 3000 MILES not 3 MONTHS...?? does this clear it up? It can cause excessive piston ring wear, excessive wear to the rod and main bearings, pitting and wear to the cam and lifters and in general premature failure of the engine. But that's about it, so go ahead and ignore the routine maintenance, then you can buy a new engine or maybe even a new vehicle.
yellow reside on oil cap is caused by condensation of water and sludge from inside the engine. all petroleum products have a little water in em. your engine needs a good flushing and then oil and oilfilter changes more often
The throttle body on an engine houses the throttle, which controls the amount of fuel that enters the engine. It controls the engine's ability to maintain an idle, prevents stalling, and aids in acceleration. If the throttle body is dirty, it can cause problems with the engine running properly. Yellow or "milky" sludge on oil filler cap is caused by short, frequent driving and not allowing engine to reach operating temperature because crankcase vapor, inside engine, isn't being allowed to "boil" off of crankcase and starts to film on engine block. Shutting off engine when it's not at operating temperature will cause it to stick to engine then restarting a cold engine, driving short time will start this all over again. Always allow engine to reach operating temp, it's ok sometimes but not all the time.
