What would cause a headlamp on a 2003 Monte Carlo to work high beam but not low beam?
You Have a bad headlight, it's common when a headlight burns out for only the high beam to work, solution change your headlight.
There is no such thing as a 2010 Monte Carlo, so the answer would be no
There is no such thing as a 2008 Monte Carlo, so the answer would be no.
no, the thermostat would have nothing to do with the car not starting.
The 1995 Monte Carlo could have a vacuum leak. An engine vacuum leak can make the car idle up and accelerate.
instrument cluster is shorted out or corroded
I would try distibutor cap and rotor.
why would a 2003 Monte Carlo hesitate between 30-45 mph
The Funny Side. I don't think the population of Monte Carlo would be very impressed if you sprayed them with freon.
no there two different body styles
i have a 1998 Monte Carlo with the same problem , its probably just the switches for the windows that need to be replaced, also check the guides that on the bottom of the windows to see if they have a rust build up , this can cause the window to jam going up or down
CS-786 Echlin points fit your stock 72 Monte Carlo.
I'm trying to find out what kind of tire pressure sensor would my 2004 monte carlo need?

The most economical and practical solution would be to buy an SS Monte Carlo with a V8 already installed.
One might find a 1987 Monte Carlo SS for sale in the classified section of a local newspaper. The website autotrader would be another source for locating a 1987 Monte Carlo SS for sale.
Because Monte Carlo is a Biscuit and it would be rather stale if its from 1994... fool!!!
That should be the AC fan and 10+ years old, old age?
Probably the high beam switch in the steering column is bad.
1995 Chevy Monte Carlo z34 if the ac fan does not work would that affect the temperature gauge and cause heating problems?
only if running the air.
A 1986 Monte Carlo SS can be purchased at federal and provincial auctions, private auctions and online. The online websites where a 1986 Monte Carlo SS would be found are Kijiji, eBay, Amazon and specific classic car dealers.
I just had that problem with my 99 Monte Carlo. When I accelerated or went uphill No air would come out of the dash vents. Problem was a Vacuum hose. Cost about $40 to fix.
no it would be carbureted, not fuel injected
Well, first i would replace the low beam bulbs, if that doesn't work, perhaps a fuse, and if not that, wiring problems.
if iwas you i would call the dealer ship, the bolt pattern is proberly the same ,but the inset might be different and maybe not. Try this webshit mylugpattern.com
Chevrolet actually made a Turbo 3.8L V6 Monte Carlo in 1980. Finding one would be alot cheaper prospect than trying to do it yourself.
78-87 Monte Carlo is a G-Body GM car that is smaller than a 77-90 Caprice which is a B-Body GM car. The seats in a Monte Carlo will fit in a Caprice, but they may not look quite right. You will need to do bolt location modifications. I would not recommend trying to use a bench seat from a Monte in a Caprice. It is not wide enough.
Brooklyn. * No , I would say Monte Carlo, in Monaco.
i think you would have to use an unraveled coat hanger
Car and distributor would have to be replaced
well..i don't know if this will quite answer the question or not...but the GXp has 275 hp and depending on which SS Monte Carlo model...most SS's in 01 02 only were big v-6's but there were only a few V8's made. I have a Bonneville GXp but before that I was going to buy a Monte Carlo SS. Most likely the large V8 for the Monte Carlo SS would be faster :) My car weighs… Read More
the wiring is probally defected or the light is burned out
If it's a V6 it could have a broken timing belt.
it can still knock and work but it wont last to long..its cylinder knock that's all.... your going to need a new motor!
if the Monte was a a v-8 car it would be easier but don't really matter much its still not that had of a job
i would say the iroc
bad switch or contacts
have vehicle scanned to determine the problem
Blown fuse or a door switch is hanging up.
That would be a clown car. Don't do it.
vacuum leak. my 95 Monte Carlo did it. once in a while it would race to 2500 rpm then settle down like normal. not easy to find , but a cheap fix.
The Chevy intermediate sized car the Monte Carlo has been around for a very long time. A person looking for a car built in 1978 would probably have to check used sites or Auto Trader.
clogged filter, carbon in the intake, foul spark plugs, dirty injectors, or engine failure!! This may be something to do with the catalytic converter. Check for a recall.
more than likely a blown intake gasket or head gasket, check your oil to see if it looks milky colored.
Check the fuel pump relay.
Mustang all day
What would cause the gearshift lever on the column on your 1995 Chevy Lumina to become very hard to move?
I had the same problem on my Monte Carlo and if you look underneath the car, you may find that the linkage could be binding on the exhaust system
A vacuum leak or a dirty or defective Idle Air Control Valve will cause an unstable idle. jd
If someone is looking specifically for a 1985 Monte Carlo SS, the best places to look would include Auto Trader magazines, eBay, Auto Trader website, or any other resource that can be specific to classic cars.
Either blown fuse or blown bulbs will cause this. this could cause it but when you have tested all related fuses and light sockets and grounds...you will still be left with the same problem that is a bad multi function switch in the steering column.
