there is a bulliten for the heat shield, or it could be the front converter

I would pay attention to when you hear the rattling. If you are going over bumps or hit a pot hole or something and hear rattling that seems consistent with the way the vehicle travels over varying surfaces, it could be sway bar links. You can tell if they are shot by looking at them next to the wheel and noticing if the bushings are cracked, missing or messy from grease leaking out. They're pretty simple to change out if you have an impact wrench. If you do it by hand, start working out your upper body now so you can be prepared to muscle the nuts loose. Hope that helps!
