Are you sure warm has anything to do with it? I thought my mx-3 getting warm then bogging down and it ended up being that the catalytic converter had fallen apart and was restricting the exhaust.
NO!! The Mazda engine and ford engine are totally different period.Mazda was still strickly Mazda until 1993. It was not until 1994 when Mazda and ford became the same on engine and tranmission similarities.You need a Mazda engine for your Mazda transmission.Note the 1986-1993 Mazda bseries trucks are all Mazda manufactured.Ford is not interchangeable with these models period.

Engine, not motor... there is a difference. The engine in the 1993 Ford Festiva/Kia Pride/Mazda 121 was the fuel injected 1.3 liter Mazda B3 engine.

Mazda removed the turbocharged 4 cylinder MX-6 engine (FT2 2.2L) in 1992. No model 1993+ came with a stock turbocharger.

First off, it would be helpfull to know weather or not it is a 1.6 or 1.8 DOHC engine...second, why would you need to know where they are at, (on side of block)?????
