Probably a relay that is clicking. Locate which relay is clicking and then we can identify which circuit it belongs to, then hopefully determine what the cause is. It is going to take some detective work and the process of elimination.
Possibly underneath the battery tray
Might be a 4x4 cable on front axle. Disconnect it from the actuator or where it runs to underneath the battery. Once the cable is unhooked, it can not be in 4x4.

All you have to do is disconnect the battery for five minutes to let the power drain and the computer will be reset when you reconnect the battery.
You can either fix the problem or disconnect the battery and re connect it
The Battery is underneath the spare tire in the back just open the rear hatch you will need some tools to get to it but it is right underneath the spare. Disconnect the wires and put the new battery in and positive with positve and negative with negative it shouldn't take you more than ten minutes

A weak battery would do that
Disconnect the battery first. First you disconnect the battery. After you disconnect the battery, you can pull it with a pair of needle-nose pliers, but only after you have disconnected the battery. It is quite important to disconnect the battery, or the thing that might be fused to the fusebox might be your hand. So disconnect the battery first.
disconnect battery. from underneath disconnect battery and solenoid wires from the starter.remove starter motor bolts and note the position of the spacer shims. installation is the reverse making sure to replace the shim in the same position if so equiped.
