it could be the crank sensor as it is a problem for the altimas.
There are a couple of things that can cause your 1992 Nissan Maxima headlights to stop working. A bad ground wire can cause the problem. A blown fuse can also cause the problem.
You need to check the radiator and be sure it is full. It can be empty and the overflow tank full. If it is full then check and be sure the radiator cooling is working when the engine is at operating temperature.
my air is cold, and car does not overheat but the fan does not work
There are several things that can cause your 2001 Ford F2 50 outside temperature gauge to quit working. The most common cause is a malfunctioning outside temperature sensor.
If the system has a full charge then the thermister is most likely the cause for it not working.
Probably the temp sending unit.
Blend door actuator failure.
Nissan is known 4 being cheap and dirty. so your car is 2. so trade it in 4 a Cadillac. or a ferrari like me
An inoperative temperature gauge will not alter how an engine runs, but the operator will not know if the water temperature has risen above normal without a properly working guage.
Check to make sure that the temperature sensor is good. A bad sensor is commonly the cause of the temperature gauge not working.
One possibility is a fuse link. It's a common problem on Nissan Altimas. The fuse a dark gray, rectangular shaped fuse (75amp) with a 2-prong female connection. Not sure the exact location, but it's usually within a fuse box under the hood. If it's blown, it could cause loss of accessory functions as well as starting problems. Also might want to check to be sure the battery is fully charged and all connections (battery cables, terminals, etc.) are good and clean.
