I am trying to visualize the area you are talking about and it sounds to me like you are describing the top front part of the shoulder. If that is the case, there is a tendon from the long head of the biceps that goes under part of the anterior deltoid and attaches just above the shoulder joint on the scapula (shoulder blade). This is a sheathed tendon that often gets inflamed if the biceps muscle remains contracted for a length of time and/or gets over-used. Do not rub on it. If it is inflamed, you can do damage to the tendon if you rub it the wrong way. It is usually safe to do RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, & Elevation). If it is a sharp pain, has swelling, looks red, feels warm, and is preventing you from doing regular activities of daily living, then you may want to go to a primary health-care provider. And depending on where you live, this could be an acupuncturist, chiropractor, or medical doctor. If there is nothing wrong, just a tight sore muscle that is causing the pain, find a massage therapist that can help you loosen up your muscles and work out any remaining soreness. The best source for referrals for a massage therapist is through the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) **I suffer from pain in my deltoid area..as though the bone is razor sharp sometimes. This is a result of an injury to my long thoracic nerve and loss of proper function to my serratus anterior (the muscle that controls the scapula/shoulder blade). The injury is not where the pain is, and there are many other symptoms, but you can do a simple test at home to find out if this is the case: stand about 2 feet away from a wall, plams flat against it. Slowly and carefully do a 'push up' as close to the wall as you can, then back out. Have someone watch or feel while you do this or have a mirror to your side. If one shoulder blade 'wings' out more than the other, it is probably a Long Thoracic injury. Ask your doc to refer you to a neurologist.

A solution has a pH of 8.5 is acidic or basic which substance is more likely to cause this pH in water HCI or NaOH why?

A solution with a substance of 8.5 would be basic not acidic. NaOH would most likely cause this pH as it is a base whereas the reaction between HCl and water would cause a very stong acid.

How do you find openings when fighting?

An opening is an instance when you can score a hit on an opponent, but it is good to point out that you should also not get hit when you decide to act. Watch their hand, leg, and body placement to predict how they would counter if you attacked, whether they would step away, catch, block, or strike. Nearly any place can be hit and cause damage in a fight, but the primary targets are the head, neck, and stomach. Pressure points can also amplify the strength of your hit. Major muscle clusters are susceptible; hitting someone's bicep or forearm will cause the person difficulty in attacking or blocking with that arm. The spinal cord is very dangerous, since one stray hit to it can cause paralysis or even death, especially at the base of the skull.
