One of the shocks on that side is probably bad.
You bet it can. A bent or out of balance drive shaft will cause serious shaking. A defective U-Joint will also cause it to shake and is very dangerous.
You can't really, if you shake you shake, just try to work with it.
My bet is tires.Death Wobble :(
Death Wobble!
Yes it will.
Eat it! Bang it on the wall. Score goals. Place hats on it. Nod it, shake it, and wobble it about.
I have a 2000 Jimmy and just had to have new ball joints put in yesterday for the same problem and then had an alignment done on it today.
The most common thing seems to be the swivel hub bearings, they get loose and allow the wheels to wobble
I can't find one anywhere, that's not to say there isn't one. How about 'A Shake of Earthquakes'
No. A catalytic converter wont. If its a rear wheel drive, check your drive shaft. Front Wheel drive, CV Joints. Other than that worn steering. Exhaust wont cause this issue.
It is probably your brake rotors causing the wobble or shake. As they wear the surface becomes rough and less perfect causing the brakes to grab unevenly.
It's referred to as Death-Wobble. That's a problem with your steering component's Have someone check your Tie rod, tie rod ends and drag link along with your hub barrings. The wobble will only get worse, to the point of going into the wobble in a curve.
