It can be caused by Heartburn, which always leaves a lump in your throat, postnasal drip is another big culprit, you may have an allergy you are not aware of,. Food allergies will do it as well. Also anxiety attacks will cause a lump in your throat that may feel like food. Either way, all of the above, should be checked by a doctor.

It is possible you have a "dangling" polyp attached to the back of your throat. It can create a sensation of tickling on the back of the tongue and if it is inflamed or infected, it may cause the taste of infection to be noticed. It requires a tiny little snip, which is totally painless, along with antibiotics, BUT YOU SHOULD SEE A DOCTOR !

No. Strep throat may cause some abdominal discomfort such as pain or nausea sometimes because of swallowing the bacteria and them going down your throat into your stomach. But they would not go as far as actually cause you to be constipated, that is something completely different.

Smoking is a main cause of throat cancer, so to prevent it, I would suggest you stop smoking if you do, or don't start smoking.

you probably have a cold. drink fluids and rest rest rest. cough drops would help for the sore throat.
Can second hand smoke cause a sore throat?
smoking is bad, with or without a sore throat. though, if you do have a sore throat i would recommend not smoking for a while as the chemicals and drugs in the cigarettes could make your sore throat worse. hope this helped.
