This is probably caused by leaving your Hazard Lights on, but may also be an electrical short. Have it checked by an automotive electrical technician if you have tried to turn off the Hazard Lights switch and they still stay on
this can be complex, i would of liked it if you gave me more information. first off, if you have halogen bulbs i have not seen to many of those problems, i have however seen this problem with xenon headlights, the first most common problem is faulty xenon control module, there is a bulletin pertaining to this problem and if the module were made by AL, and within a certain production range, the modules and bulbs will need to be replaced, however you will have to get the bulletin somehow, i sudjest you take it to the dealer to get fixed, the other problem is the ahl module will go bad and cause the xenon bulbs to go on and off, they will go off, then cycle the key and they will come on, i found this to be the ahl module, (adaptive headlight module, for the movement of the headlights of left and right), also this module is small and is located behind the glovebox, remove the glove box and disconnect the one connector on the ahl module, test the lighting system, if it works thent the ahl module is the problem.
It is possible that the headlights are activated by the alarm. If that is not the case, if it has auto turn on headlights the module can be going bad. Other than that I don't know.
probably an aftermarket alarm system with a broken horn connection going off because it hasn't been disabled with the remote
You obviously have a loose connection. Trace the wiring and find the loose connection. GoodlluckJoe
The car has automatic headlights....they go on and off when it gets light or dark out...they will also stay on for up to 3mins after you shut the car off depending on how the twilight sentenal switch is adjusted. And to take out the headlight switch in the door you have to take apart the door pannel
If you are parked and you want to here the radio without the Automatic headlights on. Some times if you engage the parking brake it will turn off the automatic head lights.
I had to get all new tale lights, the switchboards go bad on them. I found mine off craigslist, but u can also find them at a salvage yard.
Hey Fred==Your car probably has auto headlights and has a module under the dash to control them. The module is bad. goodluckJoe How long do they stay on? They're supposed to stay on for about 3 to 5 minutes.
The Kia Sorrento instrument panel lights go on and off with the headlights. The headlights go on with an automatic daylight sensor.
You have to go to the dealer and ask them to turn them off, otherwise they leave them on as running headlights. They will do this for free.
go to halfords and get ripped off
what indicator my right one
the 4way mutil.switch. Headlights. turn sig. wiper washer. I was not the lcm.
There are a couple of different times when you'd turn off your headlights. You'd turn off your headlights when the car is off for example.
turn the dimmer up.
i would assume you need to turn your headlights off as they are the most common reason for the beeping after you turn off the car. My headlights are off and the car is still beeping
You can with some vehicles. Consult the drivers manual.
its to conserve power to start veh. with full voltage to starter headlights will come on after starting car
If there are not "short's to ground", you probably have a faulty circuit breaker for the headlights.
Most likely they are burned out and need to be replaced.
