The most common cause is a broken blend door. You can read the HVAC codes by turning the system on, holding down the AC and re-circ buttons simultaneously while turning the driver's side temp control knob one click clockwise. The codes will flash on the LCD display. I expect you will see a 54 and 56 indicating the blend doors. There is an aftermarket fix for this common problem with a video showing the repair process. The aftermarket fix is called the Heater Treater.
The dealer will want to remove the dash and plenum box to effect a repair which is an expensive process and will run around a thousand dollars. You can do it youself with better results and much lower costs.

if the rear ac is working then you probably have a damper door that is inoperative. this is in the heater/evaporator box. so if it isn't working then you will be heating and cooling at the same time out of the heater box.
