When you open your door there is a button that is spring loaded and pops out to turn the light on. When you close the door it pushes the button in to turn it off.If that button is stuck or damaged it will stay on . or If a wire is pinched it will ground out causing the light to stay on. Or you have a switch that dials up the dashboard lights from dim to high , If you roll that button past high it turns on the light . Roll it back and you will feel it click and your light will turn off.
Probable broken wire in the harness in the drivers door jamb.
Try the lightbulb it self, corrosion on the contacts
Check the pin switches at the door(s)
Fuse connections. The connectors for the dome light in the fuse panel get loose, you can try and bend them back with a small screwdriver to make the connection again.
Short
The IOD fuse feeds the interior lights, radio, and other interior items.
check the fuse
Check the bulbs, then the fuse, then the switch at the pedal.
there is no button of switch you have to disconnect the negative battery terminal
You probably turned them on by accident. They are controlled with the same pull switch that turns on the headlights. By twisting the switch to the far left it will click and the dome lights will turn on, by twisting it to the right it will turn off the interior lights and will then dim the dashboard lights.
Your alternator is bad.
I would say 1 of your door switches are bad or your door doesn close all the way.
