i would like to know what would cause the miss firing in Chevy Malibu
A bad cylinder head gasket.
A faulty crank sensor would cause no spark and no fuel.
because the engine in that car does not cool down
Tire(s) out of balance/old, bent wheel, etc.
If the check engine light is illuminated, start with scanning for codes.
quite normally you'll notice a diagram somewhere in the vicinity of the power steering pump. That's where mine is on my wife's Malibu. If not there then i would check towards the front of the car just under the hood .....has to be there somewhere Do you have a diagram?
Probably either the sending unit or a loose connection.
You either have a bad brake caliper or the brake hose is bad.
What would make your speed odometer stop working after putting an alternator on? 2005 Chevy Malibu
You don't/can't. If the belt is loose it may need replacement, the belt tensioner might need replacement, or the belt isn't installed correctly. If the symptoms were given, it would be easier to answer this question.
I have a 2005 chevy malibu and had the same issue... It's the fuel sensor.. Need to replace fuel system
Noises are impossible to correctly diagnoise unless heard. Take it to a garage.
Plugged catalytic converter?
Underneath you would have to get under the car
there are a few things that will cause this, relay or fuse to ac blown, if low on freon ac will not work. check and see if clutch on ac motor works. if not its the relay.
check your fuel pressure.
The ECU would have to be reprogrammed.
bad solenoid,& starter
No, there is no connection.
The subframe would be the same. The only thing with different engines would be engine mounts. But that has nothing to do with the subframe.
i use pennzoil 5W30. yellow jug
i would say about 4 quarts
I would cahange it at 50,000 miles.
That would depend on what year which you did not list.
That would be a relay, not a fuse.
My favorite color of Malibu vehicle would be red. It looks great on the 2010 Chevy Malibu. However, I have heard that cops single out red cars for speeding tickets quite frequently.
Many things can cause a serpentine belt to come off. Most likely, it slipped off, or the tensonier that holds it in place was not tight enough.
I would try replacing the fuel filter first.
Originally it would have had "Dex-Cool".
Its your fuel pump very common on those cars
If they are the same engine size, they are interchangeable. I would not put a fuel pump from a V6 on a 4 cylinder, and vica-versa. The Malibus from 97-02 all have interchangeable parts
The alternator would be your best bet. Go get it tested.
Pump worn out? Fuel pump relay? Fuse?
You would find that information in the drivers manual.
What would cause the engine not to restart when hot Chevy Trailblazer 2007?
yes they will but you will have to go with the 245/30/22 or the 255/30/22 tires A.K.A Rubberbands The only way that would work is if you do a strut change because i have a 99 Chevy Malibu and that's wut i had to do
The emergency brake release on a 2010 Chevy Malibu is located beside your left foot. You would push down on the emergency brake pedal to release it while having your right foot on the regular brake.
I suppose that would depend on the gas station you are filling up at. Also, the price will not change even if you are not driving a 70 Malibu
not likely!! problem is probably adjusters stuck !!on rear brakes,if the adjusters were not stuck then whenever you back up they should adjust them selves.
more likely the a/c system is low on refrigerant. try adding a can of R134 that should chance the cycleling of the clutch. the most accrate way is to evacuate and recharge.
Unless there is an access panel in the trunk you will have to remove the fuel tank. I would check with your Chevy dealer, as this may still be under warranty.
same place all restrictor plates are, intake manifold, but the Malibu doesnt have one u can remove, it is build into the intake so u would need a perormance upgrade
Get a new one at a salvage yard.
I was told by a chevy service manager that it would cost in the neighborhood of $300.
The fuel sensor in the gas tank is bad.
They keep the tires on the road. with out them the tires would bounce up and down as you drive down the road.
A person would find the fuse for the cigarette lighted in the fuse box. It would be labeled under Accessory.
First you would need to take the serpentine belt off of the engine, and then remove the bolt in the center of the idler pulley. I have included an instructional vieo of how this is done.
If they are both 3100 engines...yes. Direct swap. The only thing you MAY have to change would be the motor mounts.
