when the battery dies.
Though, that is a valid answer, there are many reasons for you car to shut down on you, by it self. There is ignition coil, fuel filter, catalytic converter, ignition switch, just to name a few. Give a little more information like, year make and model with engine size to start.
My ignition relay was damaged and it caused my starter to go out, which cause my car to shut down.
doubt that a t-stat would cause a car to shut down and restart when cold check for an ignition module proublem
Yes this can cause the engine to shut off. This the main input to the engine ecu.
The mass air sensor sometimes would cause this problem
the car alarm will allow the car to start and run briefly then "shut down".
An electrical short to ground.
Yes! I got a 1994 MX6 and it would shut down while driving when your oil is low.
Could be a faulty thermostat switch in the radiator !!
the car will break or shut off automaticly
yup!
If you give the car gas and it immediately dies but idles without giving the car gas, the VAF could be unplugged. If the car immediately dies without giving the car gas, it could have low fuel pressure, vaccum leaks, compression issues.
A 1994 Honda Accord can shut off for a number of reasons. The most common are lack of fuel or air. If there is a vacuum leak the car will idle erratically and shut off. When a car runs to lean it may not be able to hold an idle.
