Yes, it may be from chewing on the bars but my hamster does that and hasn't got any sores from it. He/she may have injured themselves so the best thing to do is talk to a vet and see if they can help.
It pretty much all depends on your hamster. All hamsters bite if they are afraid or in a bad mood. You should buy some wood chews.
Give it something else to bite in order to wear its teeth down.
Hamsters will chew on anything. Some hamsters are chewers and others are not interested. They will chew on plastic, wood, metal and pretty much anything else if they want to. They need to chew to keep their incisors down as they grow. I've seen some pretty crazy chewing and I've yet to have seen a hamster break his teeth. Try some chews toys if you have a chewer. Little non-flavored Milkbones are always a favourite.
There are no reports that Hi chews cause any health concerns so they are safe to consume.
A saying that means that you are being pretty boring.
Hi, I would suggest moving him to a different room if you can . Or I just buy him some chew toys ( or something simpler) I have a hamster she has quite a few chew toys , and she never bites on chews on her cage . Hope I could help .
Usually the hamster is cleaning its leg....cuzz i have 2 hamsters and 1 hamster always bites on the other one while its asleep, they are not fighting they are cleaning !!! but if the hamster bites through its leg and there's a red part you should take it too the vet
If the hamster is chewing the bars of the cage, nothing as long as you keep an eye on the cage bar and make sure that the hamster is not eating through the cage! If it is chewing the cage bars it's a sign that he wants to come out. However if your mean that you are feeding him wire then stop cos it'll get caught in the hamsters throat or organs and cause a very traumatic death!
A bolus. If you are referring to the time when a cow stands around and just chews away, this is "ball" called cud.
(He/she) chews = mastica, masca (he/she) chews (thinks) = rumia, medita
Just like pretty much any other animal, It opens the mouth, chews a little, then swallows.
maybe it doesnt like its house or it lets too much light in as hamsters prefer sleeping in the dark, try using a square tissue box my hamster loves them and when she chews it it wears her teeth down so its good
