The constitution is the framework of government. If there was framework it would be confusing because no one would know how things are done or what to do.
There would be no written laws. We wouldn't have any freedom of speech or religion.

It is possible to follow generally established principles of pedagogy without necessarily having a constitution for a school. If it is a private school, it would also be governed by principles of business administration. Lots of people run businesses without having a constitution for their business. And if it is a public school, then it is run by a political entity which has its own constitution.
The country would go to war
I prefer a preserved written Constitution for a Republic. Also, a Constitution written on ricepaper and doused with raspberry culi would be good, as long as the whole country wasn't run by media corporations :)
They were written to explain the Constitution to the representatives who would be voting on it. It is the best source in understanding what the Constitution means.
Do you mean, "Why did they create the Constitution?" or, "Why was the Constitution written down?" For "Why did they create the Constitution?", because the Founding Fathers realized that the Articles of Confederation were not stable enough. The United States needed a stronger federal government. For "Why was the Constitution written down?", so that if any changes were necessary, it would be easy, and also so that we wouldn't have to memorize the Constitution. If it had been strictly memory, the Constitution would have died with Jefferson and all those at the Constitutional Convention.
The U.S. Constitution trumps any conflicts with state constitutions.
It could be declared null and void as being contrary to the United States Constitution.
We need more information- the Constitution of WHAT country? The US Constitution was not written in 1992, so help us out a bit here, would you?

A "literalist" would interpret the Constitution just as it is written, rather than interpret its meaning in context.
