The Moon and Pluto would both be destroyed and if Earth was not destroyed or severely damaged as a result of the collison, the would be major changes on Earth due to the loss of the Moon's gravitational influence, notably to the tides.
First, if Jupiter hit Mars, that would mean that something very bad was going on in our solar system. However, if it did, I would say that Mars would most likely just be swallowed up and destroyed by the enormous pressure that Jupiter's atmosphere produces. Jupiter would suffer a small blow, but not much.
A) that can't happen, because that's not how celestial mechanics works,
B) if it somehow did anyway, it's impossible to predict, because even supposing that it might happen means everything we know about celestial mechanics is wrong.
Pluto could be thrown out of orbit due to perturbations by some unknown body (or by some known body, such as Neptune, in such a distant future that we cannot predict it) but by definition we can't tell... now... what MIGHT happen if something we can't predict happening happened.
its not possible to say it accurately but i can say it is a planet which have undefined number of age.i dont know why this question arises for you, i say it as my knowledge,my openion.refer some other source before you conform, good luck.
siva.
Such an impact would be absolutely devastating. All life on earth would be destroyed, the oceans would boil away, and a large portion, if not all of earth's crust would melt and anything that was left would be shattered.
well if pluto hit earth then earth would be no more just because the small size dosent mean anything it would be an apocalypse pluto would break to peices and eventually the earth would be in mass destruction no living thing would come close to surviving
If a person landed on Mars, they would not be able to take their space suit off because there is no oxygen. A person would also be alone and have no food or water.
If the mars hit with earth the life will end on earth.
It depends on your definition of 'died'..
Define that and we have a starting point.
If it did, it would be destroyed. Due to gravity, it would not happen.
Brown Dwarfs are 5 times the Size of Jupiter, so if a Brown Dwarf will hit the Moon it will hit or Burn Eurth too, but if the Moon is gone or destryed Eurth's climate will change and other problems may happen.
very little
Shoemaker-Levy 9
It probably wont hit Mars at the Red Giant phase but Mars will get VERY hot.
Yes. In fact, scientists have found meteorites here on Earth that appear to be pieces blasted off the surface of Mars when some much larger object hit it!
nothing would happen because comets hit Jupiter when it is hot and it does not burn up it. if Jupiter was a a bit bigger it would start to glow.
If it did, it would be destroyed. Due to gravity, it would not happen.
The Minor Planet center has cataloged 279,722 minor planets which are asteroids, comets, and dwarf planets. Considering asteroids and comets are in some ways related bodies in the fact that they do not have hydrostatic equilibrium; we only have to subtract the four dwarf planets leaving us with 279,718 asteroids and comets discovered so far.
Jupiter gets hit ALOT
It would blow up, then hit the planets next to it and cause a mass eclipse causing all life on earth to die out... so good luck with that. Even the Tzar Bomba (roughly 50MTons, the largest ever built) would barely raise a pimple on the atmosphere of Jupiter.
Am aah if let us say a the closest moon of Jupiter would be protected by Jupiter because the gravitational pull would pull the asteroid closer
never it was destroyed the first time it hit jupiter
Jupiter. Jupiter was hit in 1994 by a comet called Shoemaker Levy9.
no it did not it just hit the gas and got gobbled up by Jupiter
Nothing No One Can Hit A Planet
Same thing that would happen to you...
No
