It would cause a large portion of Singapore's population to drown, cause widespread damage to property and generally throw the entire country into a state of chaos. The damage would be further worsened by the fact that Singapore is an Island, which would lead to it easily being flooded. In fact, if the tsunami was strong enough, the whole island could be completely submerged under the roaring waves.
Singapore would get flooded utterly and nearly the entire island would be submerged underwater, along with large loss of life.
Opium is actually illegal in Singapore. As to what would happen, if we look at Singapore today, there is not much impact actually. Lives still carry on as normal.
this would cause a tsunami
That would depend on where the tsunami struck and how big it was. Much of Australia's coastline is very sparsely populated, but a tsunami hitting one of the coastal towns or cities would wreak havoc.
The same as would happen in any other country: you could not use any electricity!
Well p-waves can not because they are to strong. If you do a tsunami would happen with out warning. You do want this to happen. If tis does happen make sure you let thee tsunami warning system know.
what tsunami? i was in the tsunami in south East Asia (i was in phuket, Thailand) and it hit the coasts mostly! hopes that answers your question
It will probably happen eventually. This is a plate boundary just of the cause that could trigger an earthquake and tsunami, but there's no telling when it will happen. Other areas along the Pacific could produce a tsunami that would reach Washington
About half the population will die.
The most recent major tsunami occurred in 2019, when a 7.2 magnitude earthquake triggered a tsunami in Indonesia. Tsunamis can happen at any time due to undersea earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, or landslides. It is important to be prepared and informed about tsunami risks in vulnerable regions.
It would be almost impossible to find a country that is totally against Singapore as Singapore is in the United Nations. When countries have disaster (e.g. the Sichuan Earthquake and the 2003 or 2004 tsunami), Singapore would be one of the first to help the affected countries. I even heard that there was a country that was hit by a disaster and they rejected help from all countries like United States but allowed only Singapore team in. Singapore also does not afford to be disliked by other countries as Singapore has to depend on them for imports which include food.
If a tsunami were to hit Florida, it would likely cause significant damage to coastal areas, infrastructure, and communities. The impact would depend on the size and strength of the tsunami. Authorities would need to issue immediate evacuation orders to ensure the safety of residents and minimize casualties.
