DNA migrates from the black (negative) terminal to the red (positve) if you place your DNA in the wells adjacent to the red terminal in would in a short time migrate off the end of your gel into the running buffer. Most people who run DNA gels have done this at least once.
DNA has a negative charge. When you run a gel, you start with the wells containing DNA closest to the negative electrode. Positive attracts negative so the DNA migrates through the gel towards the positive electrode. If you were to start with the DNA wells near to the positive electrode, the DNA would still move towards the positive electrode - off your gel into your buffer, which would give you no data and buffer solution full of DNA. So you always start with the wells at the negative end so the negatively charged DNA moves through the gel towards the positive electrode.
Nothing
maybe a spark but it wouldn't hurt a fly
will cause infertility..
Pcr
You'll fry it
This is a really bad idea. The current will double and bad things can happen.
Anything of such voltage will be burnt if plugged in a 230v socket outlet because the voltage is too high.
floods are possible to happen during a hurricane such as Hurricane Katrina that hit New Orleans, Louisiana in America
you would die

Compressor surges can happen when there is a line spike, during storms or when other equipment is plugged in on the same electrical line. An industrial surge protector can help eliminate power surges.
No, nothing will happen . Electricity is not flowing
Aluminum is reduced. Zinc ions are formed.
i think the earth would implode!
Does this only happen when you are plugged into external power or on a generator?
You'll fry it
Sometimes that can happen if it's not plugged into the speaker cabinet, even on the combo's, or maybe it's plugged into the wrong ohmage cabinet : )
Because your PSP is weird, didn't happen to me

in what situation might it be better to position the electrodes on the upper arms and thighs rather than lower on the arms and legs
